Teradata Volunteers give North County Lifeline a Fresh New Look

February 10, 2011

Teradata volunteer diligently prepares new North County Lifeline signs.

On Saturday, February 5, 2011, an energetic group of volunteers from Teradata donated their time and supplies to give North County Lifeline’s Vista offices a face lift. In addition to the fresh coat of paint that was placed on the buildings, Teradata was able to donate and install new signage around the property. North County Lifeline had updated their logo, but had not yet had the resources to replace the many signs that direct thousands of people who use their buildings each year. After just a few hours of work, the Teradata volunteers were able to leave North County Lifeline looking up-to-date and professional.

“Lifeline’s sincere appreciation goes out to the people of Teradata for their time, energy and financial donation toward a beautiful renovation. We are pleased to be walking through our freshly painted campus today, complete with the new signs marking points of interest for our visitors. Our refurbished exteriors provide a truly welcoming environment for the youth, individuals and families we serve. Thanks to Volunteer San Diego for facilitating such a fun, productive collaboration!”
– Katy Liesenfelt, North County Lifeline Volunteer Coordinator

Each year North County Lifeline offers over 16,000 area residents a broad range of programs and services in the areas of youth mentoring and support; counseling and mental health practices; family development; financial literacy and self-sufficiency; legal, mediation and fair housing advocacy; crisis intervention and emergency assistance; tax preparation; and more. Thanks to the generous support of companies like Teradata, North County Lifeline is able to leverage resources and further the organization’s mission of delivering services to children, families, and individuals that resolve problems, increase skills, and nurture self-reliance.

Teradata Cares Volunteers enjoy the sun after a fun morning of community service and team building.

Volunteer San Diego thanks Teradata for their many years of community service in San Diego County!
