New Training & Breakfast Seminar: March 16

Volunteer San Diego is hosting a training with Betty Stallings on March 16 about transforming yourbetty stallings organization through volunteer engagement. Recent research by the TCC Group found that organizations that had 50 or more volunteers and engaged them well performed better on every other indicator of nonprofit effectiveness. This training will provide practical tools for how to elevate volunteerism in our organizations. It includes a breakfast session for EDs/CEOs and their volunteer managers, with a half-day workshop to follow for volunteer managers. Betty Stallings is a fantastic trainer and it promises to be a lively session.

Half-Day Training for Volunteer Managers: Support Your Executive to be a Champion of Volunteer Engagement
For volunteer engagement to reach its greatest potential impact, there must be significant executive commitment and leadership to involve citizens in partnering with staff to carry out the organization’s mission. This workshop is for Leaders of Volunteer Engagement who want to support their executives to carry out these critical roles. We’ll look at executives’ potential challenges/resistance and how to diminish factors causing them, and provide resources, tools and other support to compress the time needed for executives to positively impact volunteer engagement. Bring your organization’s CEO/Executive Director to the breakfast portion of this training to hear more about the study (forward the information below).
